The Uganda Police Force has given a green light to singer-turned politician, Bobi Wine to hold his highly publicised and anticipated “Kyarenga” concert.
In a letter signed by Asuman Mugyenyi on behalf of the IGP Martin Okoth Ochola, police nods in a approval of the fire base entertainment’s request to hold the 10th November concert at One Love beach, Busabala. The letter is copied to Bobi Wine and the Fire Base entertainment.
The new development comes after the ‘Badman from Kamwokya’ had hit a dead end in his efforts to hold the concert at the giant arena, Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
His efforts were repeatedly frustrated by the stadium management over claims that the arena had already been book for the forthcoming Uganda Cranes match.
The concert goes for a pocket friendly 10,000 shillings and every reveller will reportedly be given VIP treatment.
