A couple amazed many after they tied the knot in a Cape Town hospital, the groom was at the receiving end of gunshots in a home robbery.
Muneer Hercules and Maryam Kallie said ‘I do’ at the Melomed Gatesville Hospital on Sunday, March 10.
Facebook user Melomed Gatesville, brought the news to the world, saying Hercules sustained injuries after his home was broken into on Saturday, March 9.
“This morning, Muneer Hercules and Maryam Kallies performed their Nikkah in front of family and friends at Melomed Gatesville Hospital. Muneer was attacked at his home last night during an alleged robbery and was rushed to hospital.” Melomed wrote.
But the Muslim couple went ahead t hold their Nikkah, at the hospital. Maryan proudly marched elegantly in the hospital hall to the man’s sick room and said ‘I do’ to the man on his bedside.
The man, still in hospital to-date is perhaps thanking his maker for bestowing upon him a noble woman who stuck to him like glue, even during the mot trying of times.
