Minister in charge of tourism could be the happiest man after his ‘Miss Curvy’ Contest was cleared by parliament recently.
The date for the long awaited ‘Miss Curvy’ Contest has finally been set for April 26, 2019 at Hotel Africana.
The Miss Curvy Pageant had drawn a negative reaction from the public, especially women, saying this is the objectification of women and promoting sex tourism.
Ann Mungoma, the Chief Executive officer Miss Curvy Uganda made the announcement at a press conference held on Monday at Grand Imperial Hotel, Kampala.
Mungoma revealed that, more than 200 women have so far registered for the competition with more still expected to join.
