“I Have Learnt My Lesson”- Pastor Wilson Bugembe Finally Opens Up On “Engule” Fracas

City pastor and gospel musician Wilson Bugembe has opened up on his regret having featured in Bobi Wine’s controversial “Engule” song.

The pastor was heckled by most NRM leaning commentators and fellow pastors for featuring in the politically charged song.

However, Bugembe says he was misinterpreted and, though he had wanted to be the unifying factor in the song, he was victimized altogether.

He now says he has learnt his lesson, and will never involve himself in any political talk, saying he will only stop at praying for politicians.

“I am just a simple boy but that was a wake-up call. Like everyone was like even Bugembe? I am an as simple man, living in Nansana, a church pastor singing gospel music so I didn’t really think about that,” said a regretful Bugembe.
