The permanent secretary ministry of Gender, Labour and social development Mr. Pius Bigirimana has met fast rising rapper Fresh Kid, the toddler behind numerous hits and his team to discuss issues relating to the singers future.

Patrick Ssenyonjo alias Fresh Kid was flanked by his manager Kamoga Francis, parents and other stakeholders.
The meeting was held at the ministry’s headquarters on Thursday 9th May 2019 and was aimed at making sure that the singer’s talent is properly handled and safely guarded.
The details of the meeting, some of which remain scanty are among others the signing of a memorandum of understanding that stipulates the roles and responsibilities if each party.
Fresh Kid shot to fame with his monster hit, ‘Banteeka’ which was followed up with another, ‘Bamuzeeyi mukulu’ and ‘Bambi’.
The singer had earlier been barred from performing in night clubs and during awkward hours by the minister in charge of children’s affairs Nakiwala Kiyingi after it was reported that he skips school to perform in concerts and other gigs.
The singer has however secured a scholarship with the Ruparelia foundation and is to study for free at Kampala Parents school.
