Vincent Mbazira a Ugandan businessman, was arrested yesterday Monday at Entebbe International airport upon arrival over caps bearing “People Power” and “Oppressed Majority”.
Vincent Mbazira was intercepted at Entebbe International Airport arrivals and on checking the products in his bags, security landed on the caps.
He was immediately detained and still remains in custody. Mbazira was coming from China, where he had bought the caps.
‘People Power’ is an opposition pressure group popularised by Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine.
‘People Power’ is not outlawed in Uganda and by the time we went to the press, the charges brought against Mbazira were still unknown.
