Fresh from clinching the African crown at the Miss World 2018 beauty pageant in Sanya, China, Quinn Abenakyo is set to be appointed Uganda’s Tourism ambassador.
Abenakyo made history when she made it to the world’s top 50. On Saturday, she made more history by making it to the world’s top five, emerging as Miss Africa in the process.
As we write this, fruits of her beauty are beginning to trickle in.
The Uganda Tourism Board chairperson, Daudi Migereko says Abenakyo’s win has portrayed and exposed Uganda in good light and is expected to attract more tourists to Uganda.
He says it is inevitable that the 22 year old Abenakyo takes up the role of the country’s tourism ambassador, which is currently being held by Zari Hassan, months after Eddy Kenzo was dropped.
