Professor Big Eye, like other Ugandan artistes has a unique skill of re-doing, modifying, stealing or duplicating  hit songs by other international artistes with selfless abandon. The Star Boss has remixed Malawian singer King Monada’s latest hit, Malwedhe and translated the lyrics into Luganda.

Big Eye Ug has titled his version of the song, “ Nfaamu” and the song is already uploaded on music sites.

The ‘Tusasanya’ hitmaker, who has been short of a hit song for a while has not taken long to ride on Monada’s fame to re-awaken his fading music journey. It remains to be seen whether the Big Music boss has the permission of the Malawian star to duplicate the song.

Big Eye’s audio version of the Malwedhe song was produced by Jose pro and the Video was shot and directed by Isaac Tilta.  The Bryan White Foundation’s new singing was quick to share the song on various social media platforms and captioned;

“ Due to world public demand, I have done this song, “Nfaamu” meaning pretending like dead for a few seconds. So in this song , I mean when haters come to me, I just pretend like dead for a few seconds and they go away.”

This is not the first time a Ugandan artiste is duplicating a trending hit by an international artiste.

Artistes such as Ragga Dee, Omulangira Ssuna and Pallaso have been accused of duplicating international artistes’ music. Of recent Pallaso was castigated for his song “ Am coming”. Critics say the song has a striking resemblance to Diamond Platinum and Harmonize’s song, ‘Bado’.
